Description

The Tel-Tac Universal Digital Tach II is engineered for precision and durability in demanding racing environments. Featuring an LCD digital readout and 'telltale' memory, it automatically activates upon engine start and records RPMs in hundreds, ranging from 500 to over 12,000 RPM on V-8 engines, and up to 15,000 RPM on smaller cylinder engines. After engine shutdown, it displays the highest RPM attained for 30 minutes. Powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery lasting hundreds of hours, this tachometer is compatible with most engines and ignition systems, including magnetos and battery-powered ignitions. Note: It is not compatible with odd-fire V-6 engines, V-4 engines with Vertex internal coil magnetos, or 4-cylinder engines with EFI systems.
