Detroit Speed Engineering's uniquely designed weld-in subframe connectors are crafted to increase your Mustang's stiffness by connecting the front subframe to the rear frame rails. Fabricated from 1.5" x 2.5" x 0.083" wall rectangular steel tubing, these connectors include front frame rail saddles and end caps for added strength and stiffness. Unlike others, they are barely visible from underneath the car, providing maximum ground clearance. The rear of the connector attaches to the Detroit Speed torque boxes that come with the Mustang QUADRALink kit or the Mustang Mini-Tub Kit. The connectors are bent and TIG welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability. They do not interfere with seat attachment hardware or the installation and removal of the rear leaf spring pocket. Additionally, the molded factory carpet will still fit over the subframe connectors. Supplied with templates and detailed instructions for installation.
