Description
Lizard Skin's Black Ceramic Insulation is a premium, spray-on thermal barrier ideal for cars, trucks, street rods, customs, racecars, and more. Formulated with high-grade acrylic binders and ceramic insulation particles, this water-based coating can withstand temperatures up to 500°F (260°C), reducing heat transfer and enhancing comfort. Each 1-gallon container covers approximately 23-25 square feet at a 0.040” (40 mils) thickness. The lightweight, non-combustible coating is easy to apply, even on irregular surfaces, and cleans up quickly with soap and water. For optimal performance, apply Lizard Skin Sound Control at least 24-36 hours prior to the Ceramic Insulation when using both products together.
