The Icon Pistons Pontiac 455 FT Piston Set is engineered for high-performance Pontiac V8 engines. Forged from high-strength 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons offer exceptional durability and reduced weight. The set includes eight flat top pistons with a 4.210-inch bore and -5.50 cc volume, designed to accommodate 1/16 x 1/16 x 3/16-inch ring grooves. Features include CNC-machined valve reliefs, accumulator grooves to minimize ring flutter, and dual forced pin oiling for enhanced lubrication. Compatible with OE and Edelbrock-style heads, these pistons are suitable for both press-fit and floating pin configurations. Wrist pins and spiral lock rings are included; piston rings are sold separately.
