Description
The Hylosil Black Silicone RTV Sealant is a high-performance, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone compound designed for a variety of sealing applications. This 3.0 oz tube offers excellent adhesion to metals, glass, ceramics, and most rigid plastics without the need for a primer. Its non-slump paste consistency allows for easy application on non-machined and cast surfaces. Once cured, it forms a tough, durable rubber seal that remains flexible to withstand vibration and is resistant to oils, water, lubricants, and many solvents. Ideal for automotive, engineering, and general manufacturing applications.
Disclaimer
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contamination such as oil or grease before application. Assemble joints without delay after applying the sealant. Excess uncured product can be wiped away with a damp cloth. For disassembly, carefully scrape away as much of the cured product as possible; remaining compound can be softened and removed using a suitable silicone sealant remover.
