Description
The Dakota Digital OBD-II Interface (Part Number: DDGSTA-1000) simplifies the integration of late-model drivetrains with aftermarket instruments. By connecting directly to the OBD-II diagnostic port, it offers user-adjustable outputs for speedometers, tachometers, and check-engine indicators. Features include compatibility with common electronic speedometers, selectable output signals (4k, 8k, 16k PPM; sine or square wave), speed signal correction of ±25% to compensate for tire size or gearing changes, adjustable tachometer signal output for 4, 6, or 8 cylinders, and a check-engine light output providing a grounded (-) signal. The compact design measures 4.75" x 3" x 1", making it easy to conceal. Compatible with J1850 and CAN OBD-II protocols, including SAE J1850 VPW, SAE J1850 PWM, and ISO 15765 CAN 500k 11-bit identifiers following the SAE J1979 PID protocol.
