The Dakota Digital GPS-50-2 GPS Speedometer Interface is engineered to deliver precise speed data for custom automotive projects. Featuring advanced electronic and software design, it compensates for GPS signal challenges such as overpasses, tunnels, and heavy tree cover. The module offers user-selectable output signals of 4k, 8k, or 16k PPM, with a maximum speed of 255 km/h (158 mph), and supports both sine wave and square wave signal types. Its compact dimensions (4.75” x 2.75” x 1”) allow for flexible installation, and it comes with a two-year warranty. Compatible with Dakota Digital RTX, HDX, VHX, and VFD3 systems with a black plastic control module, the GPS-50-2 can also interface with other aftermarket electronic speedometers. For enhanced functionality, it supports additional features like compass heading, altimeter data, and automatic clock syncing when connected to compatible systems. An optional SEN-15-1 sensor can be added to display outside air temperature. Note: The GPS-50-2 supersedes the GPS-50-1 model.
