The Cometic Gaskets 4.080 MLS Head Gasket .027 SBM is engineered for Small Block Mopar engines, offering a 4.080-inch bore and 0.027-inch compressed thickness. Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, it ensures superior strength and durability. The gasket's design includes load-controlled embossments that distribute load evenly across the sealing area, resulting in an exceptional seal with reduced bore distortion. The outer layers are coated with FKM (Viton®), a high-temperature and chemical-resistant polymer, while a PTFE topcoat enhances resistance to fretting and improves cold sealing.
