Description
The Blueprint Engines BBC 454 Crate Engine is a high-performance, drop-in-ready solution for enthusiasts seeking robust power and reliability. This 454 cubic inch big block Chevy engine delivers 460 horsepower and 479 ft-lbs of torque, making it ideal for cruisers and daily drivers. Designed to operate efficiently with power brakes, stock torque converters, and stock gearing, it runs smoothly on 87 octane fuel. The engine features a new Blueprint cast iron block with a 4-bolt main, a forged crankshaft, hypereutectic pistons, and aluminum cylinder heads. It comes equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft, a single-plane satin aluminum intake manifold, an 850 cfm carburetor, and a complete black front accessory drive system, including A/C, power steering, water pump, all belts, and pulleys. Each engine is dyno-tested, with results included, and is backed by a 30-month/50,000-mile warranty.
