Description
The Jones Racing Products Belt Drive System SBC 604 Crate HTD Aluminum is engineered to enhance the performance and reliability of your Small Block Chevy 604 crate engine. This comprehensive kit includes billet aluminum radius tooth pulleys with a black hardcoat finish, ensuring wear resistance and maximizing performance at high race RPMs. The system is designed to operate with minimal belt tension, reducing wear and frictional resistance. It features a high-performance water pump with auxiliary ports and cam stop provisions, a lower mandrel kit for head mount power steering pump drive, and a power steering pump drive kit with an integrated aluminum reservoir. Additionally, the kit includes a 55 amp idle, 70 amp max alternator compatible with 12V systems, along with all necessary belts, mounting hardware, and spacers. Jones Racing Products recommends using this kit for a maximum RPM range of 7200-7400 RPM. Please note that the use of the Jones fan or a lighter equivalent is required for optimal performance.
