Earls - Trans Oil Cooler Adapter GM 6L80/6L90/8L90E

Earl's Transmission Oil Cooler Adapter allows for the straightforward installation of AN -6 hoses and oil coolers on late-model GM 6 and 8-speed automatic transmissions, including 6L80, 6L90, and 8L90E models. This adapter replaces the factory thermostat, utilizing O-ring seals and -6 AN male flares compatible with AN plumbing and Earl's oil coolers. Its low-profile design ensures extra tunnel clearance and facilitates easier routing of hoses. The billet aluminum construction with a black anodized finish provides durability and a sleek appearance. Note: On 6L80 and 6L90 transmissions, the top port serves as the outlet and the bottom port as the return. For 8L90E transmissions, the front port is the outlet, and the rear port is the return. This adapter is also compatible with the GM 8L45E transmission; however, a slightly shorter mounting bolt (approximately 3/16" shorter) is required.
