Description
The Ultimate Dana 44 Crate Axle is a direct bolt-in solution for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models, designed to enhance durability and performance on and off the road. This front axle assembly features a 4.88 gear ratio and an electronic locking differential, providing superior traction and control. Constructed with thick 1/4-inch steel brackets and 5/16-inch wall thickness tubes, it offers increased strength and rigidity. The chromoly axle shafts and Spicer Life Series 1350 U-joints ensure optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, the axle is equipped with a heavy-duty nodular iron differential cover and is finished with a black powder coat for added protection. This assembly is compatible with factory knuckles, brakes, and wheel hub bearings, making installation straightforward. Please note, the axle is shipped without oil; it requires 2 quarts of 75W140 synthetic lubricant. For optimal performance, Dana recommends using military-tested and approved 75W-140 synthetic lube (not included).
