The Brian Tooley Racing LS3 Stage 3 V2 Camshaft is the latest advancement in the LS3 lineup, developed and ground in-house using state-of-the-art BTR-designed lobes. This camshaft offers an aggressive idle and excels in the mid to upper RPM range, providing a peak horsepower gain of approximately 70 HP. It is compatible with OEM LS3 combustion chamber sizes without requiring piston flycutting. However, if cylinder heads are milled, it is recommended to check piston-to-valve clearance. An aftermarket stall converter is necessary to fully unlock the camshaft's potential. The BTR LS3 Stage 3 V2 Camshaft has undergone Spintron and engine dyno testing to ensure optimal power curves while maintaining valvetrain stability and durability. It requires the use of a .660" lift dual valve spring kit with titanium retainers and hardened pushrods. This is a 3-bolt camshaft designed for naturally aspirated applications.
