Designed to control torque converter lockup through vehicle speed, this kit eliminates unwanted cycling and premature lockup, preventing engine lugging and spark knock. It ensures lockup at highway speeds for improved fuel economy and is ideal for converting non-lockup equipped vehicles to a lockup-style transmission and converter. The module operates using a pressure switch, allowing an 8-12 second delay after shifting into 4th gear before the converter locks up, ensuring adequate RPM gain. The converter unlocks automatically with downshifts or brake application and will not allow lockup in any gear except 4th. The kit includes a single-wire lock-up control module, 4th gear pressure switch, new internal wiring harness with lock-up solenoid for 200-4R, brake switch, pan gasket, and filter, along with detailed instructions for installation.
