The Bowler Performance Transmissions Edelbrock Tru-Shift System is a self-adjusting kickdown cable kit designed for seamless integration with Edelbrock carburetors and 200R4/700R4 transmissions. This system ensures precise throttle valve (TV) cable adjustment, enhancing transmission performance and shift quality. The kit includes a self-adjusting detent cable, detent cable arm, detent cable bracket, and throttle cable brackets compatible with Lokar and GM throttle cables. Installation is straightforward: bolt on the supplied bracket and carburetor cam assembly, install the Bowler TV cable, and run the accelerator to wide open throttle; the cable will automatically adjust itself. This eliminates the need for removing the carburetor, adjusting cams, dropping the transmission pan, or using a pressure gauge. The Tru-Shift System is compatible with Edelbrock carburetors and 200R4/700R4 transmissions, providing a reliable solution for achieving optimal transmission performance.
